The "Prague Excursion Pass" is a personal and not transferable ticket. It is only valid in combination with a passport the number of which has been entered in it and when the traveller has confirmed this by signing it. The passport has to be presented to the ticket inspectors upon request.
-
Proof of the user’s identity and place of residence (and the age of owners of youth passes and child passes) has to be shown via presentation of an identity card when the pass is purchased and when it is used.
-
The person eligible for the pass fixes the date on which validity starts and subsequently the days on which they will be valid as well.
-
The traveller has to enter the date of use in the relevant column using a fountain pen or a ballpoint pen before boarding the train. Travellers who fail to do that, who present passes in which entries have been overwritten or erased, or passes that have otherwise been adulterated or passes that have not been issued for them shall be treated as travellers who do not dispose of valid tickets.
