| Conditions of use |

- The validity on the day of use runs from 0:00 hrs. to 24: hrs.
- The Germany Poland Railpass is strictly personal and not transferable. It is valid only if name and passport number of the holder are indicated and must be signed by the holder. Presentation of the passport is compulsory when asked for by a railway official charged with ticket inspection.
- The holders themselves fix the first day of the period of validity and the date of use.
- Before boarding the train, the date of use must be entered by the holder in ink or ballpoint pen in the column reserved for that purpose. Passengers who fail to comply with this provision or presenting tampered or altered or otherwise falsified Germany Poland Railpass or Germany Poland Railpasses not made out to their name are to be treated as passengers traveling without valid tickets.
- Children (ages 4-11 yrs). Pay half the adult fare.
- Children 3 and under travel free.
- Youth age 12-25
- For Saver passes, one child is considered as one person. Therefore an adult and child traveling together are entitled to buying a Saver pass.

Private and Regional Rail Roads
- Free travel on the S-Bahn trains (local railways) that operate in the major German cities. The only exception is Berlin, where the Eurail Pass is only valid on the S-Bahn tracks that connect the DB railway stations of Berlin
- 10% reduction on the mountain railroad Garmisch Partenkirchen - Grainau – Zugspitzplatt and on some cable cars in the summit area: www.zugspitze.de
- Reduced fare on the Freiburg -Schauinsland rack railway
Ferries and Cruises
- Free sailings on boats operated by the ‘KD German Rhine Line’ making regular runs on the river Rhine between Köln and Mainz and on the river Mosel between Koblenz and Cochem (except on boats making cruises of several days between Basel and Rotterdam or vice versa, or between Trier and Koblenz or vice versa). - 50% reduction on boats on Lake Constance operated by BSB, SBS and ÖBB (from May to October). www.bsb-online.de
- 50% reduction on boats on the river Rhine between Constance and Schaffhausen operated by URh. www.urh.ch
- Up to 30% reduction on the ferries of ‘Silja Oy AB’ between Rostock and Hanko (Finland). Port taxes are extra. www.silja.com

- 60% reduction on the regular fare on the following EUROPABUS routes: EB 189 Burgenstrasse (Castle Road) (May to September): Mannheim - Heidelberg – Heilbronn - Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Ansbach - Nuremberg. EB 190/190A Romantische Strasse (Romantic Road) (April to December): Frankfurt/M - Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Augsburg - Munich/ Füssen.
