- The validity on the day of use runs from 0:00 hrs. to 24: hrs.
- The Austria Czech Railpass is strictly personal and not transferable. It is valid only if name and passport number of the holder are indicated and must be signed by the holder. Presentation of the passport is compulsory when asked for by a railway official charged with ticket inspection.
- The holders themselves fix the first day of the period of validity and the date of use.
- Before boarding the train, the date of use must be entered by the holder in ink or ballpoint pen in the column reserved for that purpose. Passengers who fail to comply with this provision or presenting tampered or altered or otherwise falsified Austria Czech Railpass or Austria Czech Railpasses not made out to their name are to be treated as passengers traveling without valid tickets.
- Children (ages 6-11 yrs). Pay half the adult fare.
- Children under 6 travel free.
- Youth age 12-25
- Saverpasses are discounted for 2-5 people traveling together.

- Bürgenstock: 50% reduction on the funicular when booked locally.

- Rigi: 50% reduction on the Rigi railways when booked locally.
- Rhine river: 50% reduction from Schaffhausen to Kreuzlingen (URh) when booked locally.
- Shipping companies: Steamer services on the lakes of Biel and the river Aare (Biel – Solothurn), Brienz, Geneva, Lucerne, Murten, Neuchâtel, Thun and Zurich.
- Stanserhorn: 50% reduction on funicular/cable car when booked locally.
- Shipping companies: 50% reduction on boats on the Lake Constance operated by BSB, SBS and ÖBB (May to October).
- Swiss Transport Museum (Lucerne): 25% - 35% reduction on entrance fee.
